Growing up in a small Minnesota farming community, Taylor has been drawing for as long as he can remember. He would draw to entertain himself and his friends. His first gig was a one panel cartoon strip for the local newspaper.

Taylor pursued a degree in Art-Graphic design at Bemidji State University. During the summers, he drew caricatures at Valley Fair Theme Park. After college, Tayor sold his car, bought an old Schwin Road Bike, and moved to California. He continued to study figure drawing and portraiture while drawing caricatures at Legoland Theme Park.

In 2009, Taylor returned to Minnesota and joined the design company Embroidery Library as an Illustrator. He continues to create his own projects while drawing caricatures at events throughout the year. Some clients have included Macy’s, General Mills, and the Minnesota Vikings.
